Mystery Science Theater 3000 did a hilarious Dead episode. I'll have to dig up the episode on YouTube. Someone on their writing staff was a deadhead.

The consistency of the envelope filter on Crow's guitar suggests that he probably has an OBEL but I can't tell if he's using a MuTron or a Proton Leaf. Tom Servo doesn't really have Bobby down and Mike really ought to be playing the bass but Gypsy does a great hippie chick.

Trey redid this song a few times, this is my favorite version. There's an online persona self-dubbed as Tweezburger (after the phish jam vehicle Tweezer and the funny cats site icanhascheezburger) that gets pretty creative and came up with this gem
