Aloha Kind Folks,

I am originally from Westchester County, NY and have been living in Hawaii for @ 20 years, the last 14 on the island of Kaua'i - one of the most beautiful places on earth I'm pretty sure. I started going to shows in 1986 and went fairly regularly till '95 - mostly MSG and east coast shows, a couple Cal Expo and one Oakland Coliseum New Year's run. Maybe 80 or so Dead shows in all, and about 20 Jerry Band. If anyone out there used to meet at gate 33 at MSG, what's up?! I miss you!

Anyhow, I am a professional musician - I play piano and celtic harp. I just finished recording my second album, the first was Hawaiian music and this one is all Dead tunes (called Harpin' on the Dead). It's quite lovely if I do say so myself. I do lead vocals and harp, sort of filling in for keyboards on the electric stuff. Acoustic and rhythm guitar is by Tom SanFilippo of Half-Step on Long Island (a member of this forum I believe). Electric guitar is by Stephen Inglis, who played with Kreutzmann in House of Spirits, unbelievably sweet and tasty musician. The rest of the band are local Kaua'i musicians, plenty talented.

This was all done at a world class recording studio, Steelgrass studio, and as an independent musician I've gone ahead and put up an Indiegogo site to help pay for it all. If you visit the site you can watch a video which has some playback, photos, cover art (by William Giese of "Deadicated" - beautiful skull & roses harpist) and pre-order CDs and vinyl albums. The campaign ends in 11 days - if you like it, please help spread the word and send the link to friends. If you have any questions or want to chat, let me know!

Peace and blessings,

Welcome aboard! The original drummer from my Dead band is out of the Big Island. He's playing in a band called Kahulanui doing kinda old school Hawaiian music.
