Nice, I got my 2100 for $335 - missing nameplates and kinda rusty but sounds great. Those deals are out there if you're patient.

I just watched a MC250 go for like 650 pus shipping (ouch). Wish I had kept mine ($350) if nothing more than to use at home and special occasions...my kid has been down in the basement listening to vinyl with his buddies...be great have an MC in front of my old speakers.

I've been thinking of picking up a 2100 or 250 to use as a second stereo (also with a turntable). 300-400 plus shipping would be awesome... and I really don't care if it looks sparkly... 600 is too much. It would also be good to have as a back up in case a large room gig fell into my lap.

and that MC2100 was modified with 1/4" inputs and 1/4" outputs. it would have plugged into my rig in a snap. I dropped the ball on the auction end time! missed it by an hour! :?

well... might be best to let that regret go. The buyer may have bid 800, and just lucked out ; )
