Hey, it's Fred from Phred Instruments.

Today, I received a new batch of Wolph and Liger guitars, and each one comes with a built-in Pre-amp and OBEL wiring installed.

Looking for the best recommendation on a place to buy an OBEL guitar cable (1/4" TRS to split 1/4" TS)?

I have one OBEL cable here that I use for testing, but I can't remember where I purchased it from - it was many years ago.

Thanks!

Correct. Dual cable with junction box is it.

So it's a box about the size of a small MXR pedal with a 1/4" stereo jack that splits into two mono 1/4" inch jacks. The cables used with the box are one stereo 1/4" cable that plugs into the guitar, and two 1/4" mono cables that plug into the input and output of the effects chain.

The reasons to use the junction box is:

1) Don't need to make special Y-cables.
2) Don't need to plug and unplug cables into effects for each setup and tear-down.

Any other reasons to use a junction box?

Hey freddy76
I really like having my cable in a " sleeve " .... before the two cables would just dangle ... this way they are a little better behaved ......
