Just got it about a month ago. Asked Brad if there was anything he could do for a Bobby tone. To my ear he nailed it. Big,bright and chimey. Another recent addition was a pair of Tone Tubby black alnico DD's. (Double Dipped) really push the mid-highs.

Mk, didn't you ask me about this months ago? If not you then there is another thread on this exact topic and I sent videos.

I don't know exactly I just asked Brad for a Bobby Twin style then he said he'd do some selective component upgrades similar to the Front Steer... If I recall correctly!

I pair it with a Tube Works 1160 and a 2 12 with Weber Neomags.

Friggin fantastic! !

I've paired with a Mesa 2020 and it sounds more modern Bobby!

I was thinking of going the SMS route too but got turned on to the Roland JC77 by MK and Dozin's posts a while back. It is by far the cheapest and easiest attempt I have made at a Bobby sound and with the best result yet. Guitar>Amp
Still may go the SMS way at some point. Just wondering have you guys have had it with the JC?

Can you reiterate your question? I'm not sure what you're asking

Love the JC,.. are we ever 100% satisfy and want to try new things? lol I'd like to try out brads sms bobby style myself.
