A place to talk about the music of the Grateful Dead

I was watching the Backstage Pass documentary on the All The Years Combine boxed set and during the "Hard To Handle" video montage, I saw what looked like Jerry playing a 12 string ES-335 looking guitar and a full red (no pickguard) SG. The SG's shot was really quick but the 12 string was on screen for maybe five seconds and in slow motion. The year for the SG looked like maybe 68-69, and the 12 string looked 1969-1971. Now the 12 string could have been the whites dragging across the black in the old slowed down un-restored film. None of the rest of the picture looked distorted though.

I don't know if this is old news or if this is new to y'all but I'm pretty interested any how.
