I just received the JG1 speaker and I have to say it kicks some serious ass.

Even at low volumes the sound is incredibly crisp and clear.

In addition, dealing with those guys was a great experience, I highly recommend it to anyone considering getting one ofthem.

My son plays the drums, and in our basement we can jam without any feedback at reasonable levels.

It turns out the problem I was having was the order of my effects and a bad connecting wire.

What type of speaker is in your JG-1 cab, the JBL?

I run a 1x12 Tubeworks(Genz-Benz, basically a MesaBoogie copy) 1/2 back cab with a JBL E-120.

I would run two of those if my guitar rig wasn't already four trips to the van to load-in or -out! One does the trick nicely though.

they are the stock hemp speakers. My Fender re-issue amp has a JBL stock which I have by-passed for the Hard trucker cabinets.

The result is a much richer sound.
