So, I ordered up some Mogami cable and Neutrik plugs to rewire my pedal board. I'm experienced with general soldering, but haven't had to do a bunch of cables before. The iron I currently have is 25W. Will that be adequate for the job, or is it recommended to use one with more power? I don't want to end up with cold solder joints.

Thanks!

I was a lot happier after I moved up from a 25w to a 45w. A lot more heat- you can get in and out a lot faster, particularly for soldering grounds onto pots. For cables and jacks you might be OK with the 25.

Yeah, thanks guys. I used my 25W for the cables and they're turning out great. However, I'd definitely use a 40W for soldering to the backs of pots.
