I'll be wiring up a 212 with JBL's soon - series wiring. From the jack to the first speaker will I splice the in and out wires and plug these into the spring loaded posts? (Since there is no output posts?) - thanks!

Remember with JBLs "black is red and red is black" !?

So, what's under the tape? - assuming you stripped the "1" wires before the input and then wrapped and taped wires going to speaker 2? thanks.

yup. no magic.

series is just a loop. connect a black terminal on speaker one to the red term on speaker two. the remaining black goes to the tip, and the red to the barrel of the cabinet's jack.

smolder is correct- my photo shows parallel wiring- two 8 ohm JBLs wired to create a 4 ohm load. If you loop wired them (series) you would get a 16 ohm load.

Thanks guys - was really just unclear about best way to connect the jack wires to wires from speaker 1 (I meant to say parallel wiring) - since the JBL's do not have an output pole. Got it now - thanks again!
