Or the iPad could be used to run his in ear monitors. I would be curious to find out what he's got going on. I'm not surprised Phil has moved on from the Eden cabs. Those horns do get pretty annoying after awhile.

On a related note, my Navigator crapped out again. I don't have a single piece of Eden gear that has not failed me on a gig. It's a good thing Brad does what he does, as the SMS is bullet proof.

No no no I find it almost impossible that Phil is using an Ipad for his IEM. We went up to the stage before they played and there was no amp visible,

Indeed, it does look like a laptop but Phil was playing around with it during the show (touching the screen)

Although I have no evidence to support, I would be stunned if Phil was using a Mac as a preamp. Someone needs to interrogate further to find out what's up here. I like my iRig for messing around, but all that amazing gear (modulus and Meyer cabs) and then funnel it through modeling software? Srsly?????

It may be his preamp, I am not gonna argue that, but I do Know lots of the new digital mixers and some other FOH/stage equipment can be remote controlled via ipads/pods/books... We can control our Presonus the same way on stage for personal monitor mixing/EQing with ipads/pods.

He's gone high tech! with Phil and Friends he used to go on the Talkback mic and say things like "slow it down" or "Modulate to G" and the band would follow. Now he tweets what he wants them to do instead.

The show me and Phillesh101 saw at CMAC he sounded exellent. we both walked right up to the stage and took pics of all their stuff and we both noticed phils equipment wasent mic'd so we knew somthing was fishy lol.then we saw his amp was missing and it was replaced with an ipad/ laptop. but either way whatever he is useing it sounds great. but i dont think it mixes his in ear monitor because he kept motioning up and down to the sound dude on his left.
