Can we start a list of artists that can craft beautiful inlays?
Any suggestions who can do a Tiger plate?

I would highly recommend Larry Robinson - he has literally written to book on inlay. Martin & Co. asked him do the inlay for their 750k and 1 millionth guitars! Pretty amazing stuff.

I felt the price was more than fair as well. More info: http://robinsoninlays.com/

Here are the two cover plate he did for me, and a few other shots of the work he did on my project (sorry getting quota error trying to upload - here are links):

I would not hesitate to use Cliff at Shark Inlay for any job. For my own J-caster, however, Craig Lavin did the headstock and Ron Thorn the Tiger plate.

I had a simple inlay done by Shark and I'm quite happy with the results!

Anyone ever try inlay stickers? Not to discount real inlays like Sharks as I would love to have that done, but as a cheaper and more DIY option I was looking at inlay stickers.

Looking at these there are a few nice options like the wolf etc.

Have no clue how cheesy this would look.

Cheers!
