Based on a recommendation from Tennessee Jedi here on the boards I was able to get a date for my Workingman's Dead American Beauty note-for-every-instrument-and-vocal-note show at the beautiful Sellersville Theater in Sellersville PA on 3/31. Hope to see you there. Hey TJ, this one's on me. Talk soon. from 1st show.

Big launch of the new 71 - 72 show coming up next week in Red Bank NJ at the Count Basie Theater on Friday 11/25, the day after Thanksgiving. Great band with Tom Circosta of the Zen Tricksters and Joe Chirco from DJ's band. Rehearsals are sounding great. China Cat into I Know You Rider done in their entirety as heard on Europe 72! Check it out. ... d=43247118

I have sent all kinds of " Play Sellersville please " emails to bands I want to see and it has finally worked !
Looking forward to a night of great tunes, MM - if the youtubes vids are that good - live will be even better.
I live right around the corner - anyone who wants to do the pre-show rituals hit me with a PM

Show coming up in a few weeks. Hope you can make it. Every note of every instrument recreated. Grisman mandolin on Friend of the Devil, jerry's banjo on Cumberland, Dire Wolf pedal steel, harmonica and best Pigpen around, the dogs that barks way in the background in the intro of Candyman, etc.[/youtube]

Ha! Our percussion guy who dug out all of the Mickey Hart bits on the records is the guy that does this and he actually wrote it into his chart when I pointed it out to him! He's also the one that comes onstage for that moment of feedback in Ramble On Rose off Europe 72, at 4:05. Too much fun.
