How ya doin', huh?

Oh wait, wrong forum. Ahh, close enough!

Well I've been visiting rukind on and off since before there were forums here (I think)... sometime in the late 90s. And finally registered!

I live in north central PA (Williamsport), after a number of years in Boston/New England. Been playing guitar long enough that the length of time isn't the issue. :| But the funny thing is, something happened about a year ago and lead playing suddenly started to click. I used to be a happy strummer, and a pretty good rhythm player at that, but lead lines for the most part just didn't work for me. Especially Jerry's. But all of a sudden I found lights going on, tone and authority coming around, and now I'm getting to be decent at it (I thank Albert King and Warren Haynes for helping turn on those lights, BTW).

And now I'm digging Jerry (AND Bob) more than ever. I want to grab that me that went to 50-some shows in the 80s and 90s and tell him how much he needs to appreciate each and every one.

Doubt I'll ever stop missing that man.
