So after about 3 hours of soldering (yes i work slow) i went to plug my strat in to see if it would work and nothing.. I took it apart again and checked all the connections and everything matches the scheme that Waldo gave me. Here's some pictures ... 54b37.jpg/

It's hard to trace the wiring just from the pics. It has to be something relatively simple. I would go over the wiring piece by piece and compare to the diagram carefully - it's easy to overlook something - especially after you have been working on it for a while, are frustrated... Take a step back, clear your head and look it all over.

Does any sound come out at all form either jack with the bypass switch up or down?

No noise at all, the only part I'm iffy about is the copper ground going to pot to pot, since they are close it didnt have much room at all to solder other wires onto it so it looks shitty with lots of wires ontop of eachother. But still all in the solder so its being grounded.

do you have a jumper on the OBEL switch? the black line from lug to adjacent lug in my schem?

where do you have the buffer grounded? any pics of that cavity?

do you have the 5 way orientated the correct way? ie.. do you know for certain which lug is which?

just poking around.

the guitar will not work without the buffer on and working.

If you're using the buffer with the on/off for the OBEL I'd try turning off the loop and plugging the instrument straight into your amp. If that works it's gotta be something in the OBEL if not its something pre OBEL. Maybe the buffer.

I didn't build the junction box yet, So I'm actually not using the OBel just yet. I'm plugging right into the amp, and no signal at all. I'm tracing the wires but i'm still at a loss. I have some connections in Heatshrink i'm going to cut them open and make sure I soldered them correctly

Here's a few more pics The blue wire is soldered to the copper gounding wire then solder to the main ground ... adb44.jpg/

with nothing in the OBEL, that side of the switch will also render the guitar inop. so ensure you try both sides of the switch. i'd reflow all your solder joints. also make sure the out put jack is not touching anything in that cavity since you have the shielding in there. electrical tape along the wall the jack may be hitting will insulate things. i'd also insulate underneath the buffer the same way.

if these do not work, bypass the buffer by removing it's input(blue) and output(yellow) wires and soldering the extended wires you have to them together. if this works then it is the buffer, and we will deal with that. looks like you have one of the early handmade PCB versions, VINTAGE! Lol.
