I'd like to mess around with a single JBL K120 in a 1x12 cabinet. I have the speaker, but no cabinet. Looking for recommendations... thoughts?

I recently bought a 2x12 cab from Doug at DNA Cabinets that is fantastic. He also makes 1x12's. There is a post several posts down from this one titled 2x12 Cabinets by DNA Guitar Cabs or something to that effect. The pictures are of a 2x12, but i guess you could use your imagination as to what a 1x12 looks like.

Another vote for TRM here. I have the 1x12 and it's excellent for not much money. I built a kind of tone ring adapter for a k110 and it's great.

Hogan makes 'em too. I think he had a 1X12 for sale not so long ago.

I made a pair of my own a while back, which taught me that I probably shouldn't be doing anymore woodworking projects.

I now have TWO Sound Scaper Productions Quarter (1X12) cabs and am totally pleased with them.

Hey Jon - so did you get rid of the 2x12? I currently haven an SSP 1x12 and 2x12, but always use the 2x12 when playing out. Just curious if you are using the 2 - 1x12s vs. a 2x12 when you play out?

Yes, I sold it. The buyer loves it (as he should!). Yes, I'm using both 1X12s in a vertical setup (one on top of the other). Bottom cab has an E120, top a K120!
