They have had that technology since around 1993 when they were pioneering it. And some times the audience did hear them when they missed it or forgot to use it. Those were funny instances, I think there are some recordings of that feed from some shows some place. If not it would be cool to hear those!

Also, looks like he has a pedal train with a few pedals he is using.

I watched from the movie theater last night (Friday). Good show bad sound (probably great for a superhero movie though...) Anyhow, I noticed that Phil is using round wound strings with the Alembic. Hard not to notice when each string is 6 inches wide on a close up. For those who are more curious, they've got brass ball ends and no silk.

Unfortunately, they never showed a good shot of the pedalboard.

Oh... and for the love of all things sacred, could someone please teach Bruce not to step all over the jams in Fire.
