Individual volume per string would be pretty cool, actually. I've been known on many occasions to change my pickup height after the first song or two to balance out the strings. You just never know if one of your strings will boom out or get swallowed up until you get on stage.

This bass isnt A Phil Bass? Did you just wright that for sarcasum? because phil did use a 5 string in the 90's
