So, I just picked this up... I'm wondering if anyone has figured out any nice Jerry tones on this machine. I'd appreciate any input. Thanks!

And, at that point I was only using it in my effects loop, with no active amp or cabinet settings on, only for the various effects combinations and reverb, with a 50/50 wet/dry mix on my effects loop.Totally agree. I did the same thing - the X3 went into the effects loop of my guitar and I compared that (with all modeling turned off) to the loop bypass and it was really noticeable how much tone loss there was. I've come to think that the X3 is good for rehearsal or practice, or maybe for bands that do hi-gain music.
Just turning on the unit, with no effects or anything activated, produced a noticible hit on my tone that was a bit more thin with some loss of the low end.
