How much for the MC2300?

Where is Brian's volume set on the Maestro Reverb amp when using just the combo?
I think i talked him out of selling the MC2300.

He said the volume was around 7, which is where Jerry stated he never went passed when he used the Twins as combos.

Yea, I didn't really think he would sell it. Thanks for the volume info

I have decided to keep this gem as my own. If i ever decide to make another i will post it in the garage sale here first. But for now, bench is full with other work.

Also, I need to publicly apologize to Brian and his band Dead Again. I mistakenly called them Dead Ahead at the beginning of this thread and it snowballed from there. They are called Dead Again from Michigan. I changed all
my posts.

Sorry for the mistake.

I'll chime in for Waldo since I was Brian's "guitar tech" at this gig (super fun, Keller Williams was the headliner--super cool musician--he played Scarlet with the band).

Here's Brian's rig for the gig:

Wolf clone with Dimarzio DP104 pups > 135-watt Fender Twin Ultra-linear w/Maestro mods, JJ 6L6GC power amp tubes > JBL E120 > Shure SM57.

Actually it hit my bench as an Ultralinear 135 Watt Twin, but it left completely reworked to my specs as a Maestro Reverb Amp at 100 watts.

TeeJay, he is using the Twins 4 6L6 power section. He loves it and uses it exclusively.

TeeJay wrote:Thanks Mike- Yeah I need to add 2 6L6s to my Maestro Reverb and hit an E with 100w. I am not really digging the K's anymore.
You are the second person this month who told me they have fallen out of love with the K's.

I'm on the fence between the K's and E's. Unfortunately E's in good condition are getting harder to come by. I have four K's in excellent condition and am looking for two E's. I foolishly sold all my E's when I bought the K's.

I'm gonna give these a try. No affiliation. No high hopes.
