Thanks. I was hoping for someone that has put one on theirs and knows of an exact replacement brass nut. Anyone? Or, if any of the random ones on google will fit.

as with any nut, as every guitar is different, i.e. fretboard thickness, fret size, neck angle . . . a one size fits all or pre-made nut is going to be a dice roll IMHO.

Yeah, I am now realizing that in my researching. So, I will just get one, and size it and slot it myself. Thanks all.

Agree. A Gibson style nut should be closer than a Fender style, but it's not likely that an off-the-shelf nut will drop right in without some fitting. If you can't do it yourself you should be able to buy one and have a local luthier fit it for you for a reasonable fee.

I made a few myself starting with a brass blank, but you really need a set of slot files to do it right. Not to mention the experience factor- by the third time you should be close... Take it from me.

Bought one that is Gibson style. I will mod it to fit if needed. Thanks.
