Vintage Phase100

So, I'm not 100% satisfied with my reissue phase 90 and I'm thinking about going for an older phase 100. I'm wondering how much of a hassle will it be to only have battery power? My board is tightly packed and velcro'd , so it would be a pain to try and unplug it when not in use so I don't drain the battery. I was thinking I could modify the pedal so the battery connection could run outside of the box for easy access to disconnect it, but I don't know that I'd want to do that either. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, what's the general consensus, is it even worth it to drop the ~$200 that these are going for?

Thanks!

They sell cables that have a 9 volt battery connection on one end and a standard DC pole on the other so you can use a power supply. You just need to either drill the back of the pedal or make a new back if you don't want to destroy the original.

Ahhh...yeah. Duh, completely spaced that out. In fact, I think I even have one that came with my VooDoo labs power supply....damn stoner :D

If you need one and can't find one, just let me know. I've got a few lying around. :-)

I had a reissue Phase 100 that sounded pretty good. Definitely a lot more sounds than the Phase 90.
