Stratoblaster connected to push/pull pot?

I'm planning to add a Stratoblaster to my '98 Reverend USA Avenger. I don't want to drill or alter the stock pickguard at all. I'm planning to wire the 'Blaster to the guitar's tone control via a push/pull (on/off) pot. What's my best option for copping a Stratoblaster that's "Avenger-ready" in this manner? I know there are kits out there but between family and work, I need to preserve as much time as possible for playing and practicing! If there's an option that will work for me right out of the box, I'll be grateful to learn of it.

All I know about is the blaster from Alembic for $95 or the Guitar Gagets blaster kit $35. I've used both and both sound great. The GG kit takes only about an hour to build and install. I'm sure there are others similar, but thar's all Ive seen in the Blaster catagory.

I can custom make a solution for you, using a pull up volume or tone pot, priced between those two extremes... pm me if you are interested...

If you don't have milobender solve your problem for you(he certainly will), buy a pickguard blank, trace your shape, and you'll have a dummy guard you can drill to your hearts content while your precious stock guard is tucked away safely. Otherwise, put a Stratoblaster in a stompbox, because there is no other plug and play solution for a Reverend.

When I modded a strat and didn't want to drill anything, I opted for always on like Garcia had on Alligator. I dialed the internal trim pot pretty far down and use the guitars volume to make the difference.

I bought the Alembic version. Figured authenticity was worth it.

Thanks for the offer, Brian, I'll be back in touch when I decide how to proceed.

Mosfed, I assume you installed the Alembic version as you got it but do you recall how the board and parts were attached to the baseplate and whether they're readily removable without damaging the parts?

Im pretty sure they are just soldered to the mini switch so if you take that off the whole board will come with it.
