Wow, that's completely the opposite of what I experienced. Richard was prompt in his reply, finished the work ahead of what he quoted, and my MuIII sounds amazing. Hope everything is okay with him.

I guess I'll try again . I can easily get ahold of his partner and he said he would forward my email but still never heard anything , I'm thinking it might just be signal loss from my whammy pedal , I just realized it started acting Funny a coupe weeks ago when i got the whammy . I'm puting the whammy first in the chain . Before thè volume I think . It's not a real whammy but I fell in love with one thing it does .

I too am not finding a lot of luck locating Mutron III envelope filters that don't cost a fortune. Can the Qtron + get "close enough" using some of the suggested settings here, if I'm running it with an OBEL and UGB?

I would say yes. I had the Qtron+ prior to getting my MuTron and it sounded great. I'd still be using it if the Mu didn't fall into my lap at a great price.

I found reissued Mutrons on www.americanmusical.com for $250 with power supply. Anyone else use the reissue? Any comps on it vs the original?

That looks like a HAZ labs "reissue", normally not highly recommended. A $100 first gen Qtron might be better for what we're looking for. Use the search function here and you'll get an education in envelope filters

I will probably test the HAZ just to see what its like, but in the end I'll likely buy a Qtron.
