ur all so lucky they come nowhere near the midwest that im aware of and john k is my idol, almost as much so as garcia, maybe more at times cuz ive seen him play sooo many gigs but never seen jerry. i hope its amazing, should be as john is at top notch and the perfect fit for that band. for once phil gave up his grudge about barraco leavin him and is gettin onstage with a dso a member. thank god for that, hopefully audio will be up somewhere

Does anyone have any reviews on these gigs? A friend of mine has them downloaded and I am going to be getting it on cd. My friend said it seemed Phil and Bob were trying to slow everything down ( Jack Straw light) if you will.

I imagine the shows should have been fantastic.

Reviews?!?!?!?!

Blair Jackson himself wrote very good reviews for the shows:

I downloaded Sunday night's show this morning and was late for work because I couldn't turn it off. I blame the new Phil song that came out of Dark Star...

Just a quick thought after listening to the first Further show.

Man is it good to hear phil playing this music the way the GD played it. I can hear his smile in his playing. Also, he has the best bass tone I have heard.
