Im sure all of us will put Jerry and various other Dead members, but who are your main influences?

Im still thinking, it really varies from month to month, depends on what Im listening to @ the time besides GD

As you mentioned, the Dead's right up at the top of the list.

Beyond the dead, I think my biggest influences are Jim Croce and I have just started to take liking to Warren Haynes. Both of them write great songs, lyrically as well as musically.

Mine are all the same as those mentioned. But another one in particular is Tommy Iommi. I'm a fan of the early Sabbath. The first album,in my opinion is a masterpiece. I have it on vinyl. Everytime I need some inspiration to play, this album never fails me.

Being more or less a rhythm guitar player I lean towards:

!. Bobby, duh, perhaps the best/most unique rhythm guy ever
2. Dylan, very underrated in my opinion as a guitar player.
3. Ryan Adams, though I know some can't stand the guy. He still writes good songs and straightforward as it is, I like his guitar playing.

My real guitar heros though are

1. Jerry
2. Hendrix
3. Duane Allman
4. Warren Haynes
5. Jimmy Herring
6. The two guys from Moe. who melt my face every time.
7. Dean Ween, go to a show, you'll get it. Uh, or is it Gene?
