Howdy all. I'm purchasing an H&D 00 Custom Cocobolo lefty guitar through Vic (Playing Dead) at Lefty Guitars Only. I'd like to share a couple photos thus far. Estimated completion date sometime mid June or so. Vic's been awesome to work with, and the guys at H&D seem really cool, too. Anyways, hope you enjoy ~

I have to hold the Ctrl key to get links like this. They open new tabs...and the pics appear.

Nice Bird House by the way!

Sweet! I've played a few of those. They make them just up the road from me. It's cool to use a fellow rukinder, Vic seems like a cool guy. He sure can play.

These are killer guitars. I can order 'em righty, too

Here's one I did in cocobolo with an Englemann top, cocobolo bridge and fretboard. It sounded awesome.

In fact, I will get any rukinder a kind deal on anything I carry (although some builders, like Huss and Dalton, control the discounts they allow their dealers to make).

I'm authorized sales for Carter-Poulsen, Collings, Eastman, Froggy Bottom, Huss and Dalton, Larrivee, Lowden, LR Baggs, National Resophonic, PRS, PRS Private Stock, Schenk, Schroeder, Stonebridge and Thorn. Acoustic and electrics.

Vic- Thanks for posting those pics. I'm "computilliterate"when it comes to adding photos on here
Hope you don't mind me mentioning the order/build. I first noticed the Huss & Dalton 00 Cocobolo SP you previously had and sold. Immediately, I wanted one. Vic put the whole process together, made it super easy, and now it's just a month or so away. Really, really pleased and as TCSNED mentioned, feels good to do business with folks on here.

You'll love that guitar. I had an H&D Dread for a while but had to sell. Finest guitar I ever played. Amazing build quality. The bracing pieces are just so finely cut. And beautiful wood. Years ago I went up to see them in Stauton. Great group of guys, toured the facility (and old barn building at the time)-all of them craftsmen with a lot of pride in each step of their work. Enjoy that this summer!

Well, Jim's guitar arrived yesterday ... too bad he's on vacation and won't get it for a few days

It's gorgeous. There is something really special about these 12-fret 00 guitars from Huss and Dalton. This one has a spectacular cocobolo back, englemann spruce top and Jim chose a cocobolo fretboard, headstock overlay and bridge to make it really special.

Howdy all. Hey Vic. Oh my goodness the Coco turned out SWEEET. I'm in Playa Del Carmen, sit tin' on the beach, jammin some early 80s DEAD. Was always 72, 77 and 89 partial but Really enjoying Brent hone his chops and Jer rockin some SICK Althea's. Vic, thank you again. Internet is super sporadic but had to mention The guitar is the most beautiful Cocobolo I've ever seen. I will call you on June 4 and we'll get it all taken care of. I had a sneaking suspicion (hope) she'd be done a bit early. Peace all and thanks again Vic.

Jim

* edit Brett to Brent. Something about Mary reference or WAY TOO many drinks. 8)
