With campfire season upon us I was wondering what everyones favorite songs to play are.

I busted out Monkey and the Engineer, Dire Wolf, and Friend of the Devil for some kids this past weekend. Just looking for a few more ideas. I'm also working on I Know you Rider and Jack a roe, but jack a roe is pretty tough after a few beers

Yeah anything off of "not for kids only"... I think "Arkansas Traveler" is a top choice...

wildly dependent on set, setting, audience, time of night (or day)

Beatles, Willie nelson, John Prine, Cat Stevens... how about "TV Party" by Black Flag? or "Bobby Brown Goes Down" by Zappa? "I'll Stop The World" by Modern English"?

So much good stuff to write. Going camping next week by a river in Lower Bank NJ so any devil related song is good. Here are some of my favorites:

Long Black Veil
The Hobo Song
In the Jailhouse Now
Gates of Eden
Ballad of Hollis Brown
Illegal Smile :D
