Those old 50's blues guys are disappearing quick. He played on most of those classic Howlin' Wolf records. My He also beat Jerry out by 3 places in the Rolling Stone 100 Greatest Guitarist list :-) ... n-19691231

Here's a video of my buddy Bob Margolin playing with Hubert on Mountain Stage back in 2001 - Hubert was a youthful 70. I think the first tune will be familiar :cool:

I noticed he's playing through a Louis Electric amp on that first video. Those guys were at the Gear Expo..great guys with great equipment.

I didn't know he passed until I read it here.

Those Chess records he played on have been a big influence to me.
