Anyone have an alternative way to play the intro? I can't seem to get the one here to sound good. Any others??

I like this from Darks

Here's one I just worked up from American Beauty:
Code: Select all
INTRO
3x: Bb F C
E---------------------------------------------------
B--------11-11--------10----10----------------------
G-------------------------------------9----9-7-5----
D--11/12-12-12---8/10----10-------------------------
A--------------------------------9/10---10---8-7----
E---------------------------------------------------

         Bb F C
E--------------------------------------------------------------
B--------11---11--------10----10-------------------------------
G---------------------------------------9----9----9----9----9--
D--11/12---12------8/10----10----------------------------------
A----------------------------------9/10---10---10---10---10-10-
E--------------------------------------------------------------

        G
E-----------------------------------------------
B----------------12-12--------------------------
G--------12--12--12-12-14-12--------------------
D-----------------------------------------------
A--13/14------------------14-----------0-0-2-2--
E----------------------------------3-3----------
EDIT: changed the carats to forward slashes throughout - since I learned that the ^ means "bend' in some tabs, but a / always means "slide up" 8)

Heres an alternate take that I find a little easier than the provided versions.

e:______8_8_______6_6_______5____3_1_____________________________
b:__________8_________6____________1______________________________
g:__789_______9/7_______7/5__2/3___2_____________________________
d:_______________________________________________________________
a:_______________________________________________________________
E:_______________________________________________________________

I can't read or write tabs so here's what I'd do:
