Just wanted to say thank you...

A little while back I posted a song that I recorded and posted it here. I got alot of really positive and encouraging feedback which encouraged me to post a couple more songs. Well since then I've had some great opportunities to play a couple shows and even record some songs on video for me to present to you all.
My confidence in myself has skyrocketed since the day I posted my first song, and you all have really given me what I think Dead music gives all true fans-peace and a feeling of self belief. For that I really just want to say thank you! Who knows what I'll become as a musician, but I now have the confidence to release this gift I have and feel good about sharing it with other people and it truly all started right here on this forum, which helped it blossom amongst my friends and family and now total strangers that walk up to me and pay me such nice compliments.
I always keep in the back of my head that some here might think I was just pimping myself out, and I promise you that was not the case. I just felt that maybe fellow deadheads might be the best place to go for an honest stranger's opinion. I'll tell you since I first posted that video I now play bass and sing in a local band and have received numerous paying offers for solo gigs including as far a Florida (I live in NJ). For all this I truly owe a debt of gratitude to this site and its members. So I just really wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I really hope I can repay this gift to somke of you out there who are a bit shy about playing in front of people.
