Agree, except Trucks did his thing while the other guy filled in for Warren.

who filled in for warren when he left and just did gov't mule?

I believe it was Jack Pearson, I remeber his hat!

Hailing from Nashville, TN, Jack Pearson played with the ABB from June 1997 through the fantastic March 1999 run at the Beacon Theatre in NYC. After two great years of contributing to the ABB's music, Jack decided to move on to work full time on solo and session projects.

What they should do but it will never happen is get the guitarist from DSO. HE is nasty and has amazin feel for the dead

agreed. not only does he have jerry's tone and playing down pretty well, he sounds more like jerry than anyone else i've ever heard. that guy could really help the dead get their old sound back, something guitarists like warren haynes or dickie betts (who are touring with the dead nowadays) just can't do.
