The song that got me into this genre of music 4 years back was Kidney In A Cooler by Keller Williams. From there I listened to just random mix's of the dead and have since pretty much forgotten about Keller lol. But still try Keller who knows. Like TS said you gotta bridge the gap. Zappa is definitely a good start. My guitar wants to kill your mama would be a good'un

who cares let her hate it ...if i said i hated a band and some one gave me a cd of them i would tell them to fuck off and ask why they think they know what i should like :-)
