Hey all, it's been awhile. For those of you who remember me, you remember that I was the Mexico contigent for a long while. Well, I've been back in the States for a few months, looking for a job (no luck yet) and bouncing around this great land...I've finally settled in Austin for awhile (there are worse places), and I'm lucky enough to have some semblance of a recording studio in my apartment so I've been working on some of my original stuff. Anyway here's a link to one of my songs called 'Jive Idea'.

All feedback is welcome and invited. Please keep in mind this is really rough, recorded on a broken Yamaha classical (my Larivée is still in Boston, real long story) with a $20 mic on my cheap, low-end sound card. But it's not bad for what it is, and I'm Grateful to finally be in a place to work on this stuff and lay it down.

Anyway, I'm all ears...thanks...

So I finally got another song posted up on the above link, and still wouldn't mind hearing some feedback. Unless the absolute silence is people's way of telling me I suck.

I liked "Jive idea" best. They are both melodic and I believe would lends themselves to some good lyrics. I have no idea why but it put me in the mind of Melanie

Thanks, Cascading Rain actually has lyrics, but I didn't feel like singing after all the takes and mixing etc of the song itself. It's amazing how many hours it can take to record two guitar parts for a 7 minute song. Even when you know both parts backwards and forwards. Anyway thanks for the feed back.
