So my band was playing a show about a month ago that we happened to be multi-tracking and videoing. Apparently, the club owner decided to put the lighting on the same circuit as the PA... but not the backline! I hope you enjoy our extend jam version of my original tune "Just Be Me."

Good save!

I saw the Dead at Merriweather Post Pavilion in 1983 when there was a huge thunderstorm during the second set, and right in the middle of Sugar Magnolia, big bolt of lightning and clap of thunder, the PA cuts out, all you hear are the drummers for a couple of seconds, then it kicks back on and they kept playing.

Ditto Good save! Gotta roll with the punches! We were using a mixing board that wasn't working right and it kept sending a signal to our right side that kept tripping the protection circuit, and vocals would go on for a few seconds, drop out for a few seconds...I just shut it off during a guitar solo, turned up the other speaker and ran with one speaker. Thank god it was a small venue.
