Every 6 string I have come accross or played has been BEADGC.
It makes the most sense in terms of keeping the intervals the same up and down the fretboard. Also, chords using the c string or played up high, sound to my ears pretty close to a nice warm guitar.
On more than one night, I'd start up Jack Straw. The E-> Esus intro sounds just like a 335. Everybody pretty much just assumed the rhythm player started it up and went along with it.
Worcester/ Providence area Bass player, looking to hook up and play some tunes!!
