Barton Hall 05/16/1981 is by far an away the best aud recording of a show I have ever heard. Great show with excellent versions of Shakedown, Stella, GDRFB, and Let it Grow. Fire one up, turn up the volume and this will take you right back to the way it sounded in 1981 on a good night.

The best show of the 80's IMO is Rochester 9/2/80. The recording is a good aud (not near the quality of 5/16/81) but the Iko> Morning Dew > Sugar Mags ending was the highlight of any show I have ever been to. Don't get the soundboard copy, it's flat.

Reckoning and Dead Set especially with the 'bonus' disc which I think completes the Dead Set recordings

I really like Dicks Picks 13. Its Nassau Colliseum in 1983 (forgot the exact date). First set is decent, second is amazing.

4/18 and 4/19 82. Fun shows with cool spaces (phil's earthquake space and the raven space)

Everyone says that the early 80's is kinda the same old thing each and every night, but my favorite set lists are from 81-84.

76-77 had boring setlist (with out of this world playing!) Anyone else feel the same way?
