Just saying how much I love this site, I guess I visit it nearly every day. Im 16 yo from Australia and have been playing guitar for a couple of years. I love the fact that each part of the tab has a mp3 file included.

I can't quite put my finger on why I love the Grateful Dead so much, the music is almost spiritual and enlightening, it has got so much soul and feeling in it which doesn't exist in mainstream music today.

Keep up the good work.

Im not really too sure whether the Grateful Dead has much of a following in Australia. I have had some guitar lessons on a steel string acoustic guitar and have been teaching myself for the past couple of years. Incidently my dad has the same martin d28? jerry played in the concert at Radio City in 1980. I have an electric guitar aswell. But I am dying to learn some of Jerry's acoustic solos particullary the one from 'to layme down'.

The first time I head the dead was on a DVD, live in Radio City. Bird Song being the first track.
