Also, once it starts calling a few hours after sunset, the saw-whet continues uninterrupted for several hours in its seemingly intense bouts of vocalization.

Having listened to Seastones, I realize that whatever goes on in Phil's head is not something I can figure out. :lol:

There was a great horned owl hooting away behind my house the other night. It was really cool to hear. That's the classic hooting kind of sound you think of when you think owl.
