Got to see these guys last Sat in Kent, Ohio at a nice little theatre and just thought I'd mention that they (IMHO) are definitely worth catching if you can. It was simply GREAT to see Billy in top form, having a blast and making me remember the good ol' days again---as Duke Ellington said, "the drummer is the band".

They do their own tunes which Hunter wrote all the lyrics for, on top of doing some great GD stuff. They also did a Meters tune as George Porter Jr. was there (he's not at every gig this tour, but most of em he is) too. He can flat out play some serious bass......the guitar player Papa Mali had what I thought was a real nice tone/take on the material and his solos had a certain energy I really dug.

As for GD tunes, they did Bertha, Deal, Wharfrat, Midnight Hour, New Speedway>Lovelight>Bid you Goodnight----the Wharfrat and Midnight Hour were highlights for me.
