I purchased ours, but they won't mail em out until about 2 weeks before the show. I worried a lot waiting for tickets to last spring's Dead shows and the Furthur new years shows, but they all arrived up in plenty of time.

High Peaks wrote:2.) If it was that show, you can absolutely compare it to The Grateful dead. I only got to see 24 shows with Jerry(22 Dead, 2 JGB) dating from 88-94, but that show of P & F from 10-20-07 really stands up there. Its definitely better(IMO) than anything post 1993.
You should go see them now, they are playing so well; better than anything I saw post '91!

That NYE show is GREAT. It's pretty exciting to hear Phil and Bob sounding so good. Very dynamic outfit (the band not the clothes).

John K is perfect in this spot.. Enough like Jerry in tone, style and voice to make you feel very comfortable, but it doesn't sound like a parody.

I think it sounds much better than the Warren Haynes, Larry Campbell, Jimmy Herring, John Scofield, et al versions. I might add that I'm a big fan of a couple of those guys and admire them all, but they never sounded "right" to me in "the dead environment".

I like this!

Edited to add: It's almost like John got called up from the Pawtucket Red Sox to the Boston Red Sox.

Manchester Tix in the mail. I got the email confirmation this am. Listened to new years last night. Seems like JK is getting more and more comfortable. For any fellow heads attending Manchester NH show JD's tavern is in the Raddison hotel across the street from the arena. Good food and kind brews. It's connected to the parking garage.

I think that ANY shows from this point on are a gift. I have really put alot of thought into why and who. The Phil birthday show will hopefully bring out some special guests.
