Also heard there may be another short Dead run leading to NYE....probably west coast.

I find that hard to believe.... from most of what I've read, Phil and Bobby are the ones who don't really get along. Based on my observations they both want to be the bandleaders, and it's tough to have two of those in one band.

I've read that all over the internet and have a hard time fully believing it. Seems like those 2 have butted heads for a lot of years on and off and the wonder of the GD was greater than their petty differences. Lacking the wonderment of the full GD seems like it is harder for them to get along. And let's face it, Jerry was the leader at least 60% of the time. Take that leader out of the equation and it's bound cause chaos and strife but not any that is unique to the Dead - just plain psychology.

Nothing has been formally announced, but I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear that Phil will be doing a big 10 night run at the Nokia in NYC as he's been doing for the past couple years around the later Fall.
