with the tiger clone it is the single input resistor that needs to be changed to 100ohms to bring it almost to unity. but 100ohms isn't the input resistor in tigers circuit. besides the simple raising to unity doesn't produce anything other then a slight volume increase from the circuit. and the twin preamp volume lowered 1 or 2 numbers will bring it right to the identical volume. the tone does not change, so d not believe this is simply a 1 or 2 resistor swap.RiverRat wrote: Without delving into the specifics, we're not talking 2 different circuits.
