that was his midi guitar and pulled out when midi was needed. a very good sign as to just what year they might be aiming for.

Although probably a clear giveaway nowadays for a "90's show", JK's Jerrified PRS was actually his main axe for most of his career w/ DSO, up until he got that Carvin- what 2-3 years ago? ... And then last year, the Steinberger. For the first year or two of DSO (and earlier w/Hairball Willie and w/me in Wingnut) he played a gold strat-style PRS w/ 3 JB Jr. pups.

Wow, that sounds great! You're a much better guitarist than you let on.

Thanks y'all I'm constantly humbled by the galaxy of talent here  so I thought modesty might be the best track, Any how thanks of the kind words.

The rig is (maybe familiar to a few members ((thanks again Vic!!))): Fender Silverface Twin head (with blackface mods) Baltic Birch 2x12 Cab JBL E120's> Hard Truckers Y Box>GCX> MU Tron III, Boss OC2, MXR Distortion+,MXR Phase 100, Boss DD3.

I was aware the John Kadlecik played a PRS like this one but that wasn't a factor in my decision to use the EG for the mod. I really liked the set neck and the quaility of the SE line from PRS they are very well made guitars for the money. Turns out it was a good choice, this guitar has fantastic sustain and easly the best playing neck of any electric I have ever owned.

The guitar was the culmination of 5+ years of research, getting lucky on Craigslist, and a little wood shop on my end (I built the effects rack) I did everything on the cheep or as cheep as I could, most of the effects boxes are second hand and in the case of the MuTron at least third or fourth. It sounds great and is a blast to have staring back at me in my living room. I'm practicing a bunch and hope to be jamming locally soon. Really thanks again guys.

John K's EG's were bolt-ons. Has anyone played any of the older bolt-on models? He said he originally used them cause they were cost efficient and I'm a fan of many things cost efficient.
