Speaker Baffle Thickness?

Speaker Baffle Thickness?

Is 3/4 in. the recommended thickness for the baffle board in a 1x12 cab, or is 1/2 in. sufficient? Thanks, Paul

1/2 is plenty. Brace it for stiffness.
