I have a guitar I made when I was carving instruments at Alembic. It was inspired by both the Tiger & Wolf guitars. It has a quilted maple top like the Wolf, upper & lower bouts are similar to the Tiger, & a classic Alembic omega cut. I like Teles, so it has two single coils, volume, tone filter, & a mini toggle on/off for each pickup. I had a Fender Super for years, but it is now my son Jorma's. I now have a Boogie .50 cal+.

Thought I'd go and post an update since it's been a very good while since my last and the fact that I've moved from the Bob-ish role to the Jerry-ish role in the group. I went for effective but affordable because my wife didn't want me swapping OR selling stuff left and right to make it happen. She was actually willing to see more gear accumulate than she was to see me go through the mess that could be trading and selling. Anyway, I'm not replicating Jerry's rig, just a nod in tribute in hopes people will like it. So far it's as follows:

Squire (yes SQUIRE!) Classic Vibe 50's strat w/upgraded pots, Fralin single coils, and hardtailed bridge> QTron> Hardwire Tube Overdrive> BBE Boosta Grande> Carbon Copy Delay> Fender Super Champ XD> 1x12 cab w/ Eminence Commonwealth 12.

MXR Carbon Copy. Just got one. Affordable and very nice, IMO.

Many folks suggested it so I tried it along with a couple others. I took the Carbon Copy and the rig is updated accordingly above. Exactly what I wanted. Thanks!!
