I stumbled across this on Merl Saunders facebook page- I'm pretty sure this is Haight Street Fair 1985. Check out Bobby on some sort of Les Paul:

That is a TP-6 tailpiece.
I had one on a Les Paul I had for years.
Once you put on new strings and get tuned up, you only use those fine tuners to tune.
They work great.

I don't know if you saw the other thread, but it wandered far afield rather early in its life. A Les Paul-related post would be off topic there now. :lol:
