Bobby 80's project guitar on eBay with Modulus neck

I was watching it too, wonce it hit 100 Im out. But that is a cool neck. I was wonedeing about the description. It says it doesnt "work" but then later implies that it does. We know that neck is fine so how could it not work?

I'm guessing the wiring may be jacked and the trem system looks unmaintained.

I think he just clicked "project" or "for parts" under condition and the rest pops up automatically. Looks like a great way to get into a graphite-necked Bobby guitar on a budget to me!

I agree Rusty! I havent been on the Bay in awhile. I might reconsider this guitar as well. It would be a good Bobby guitar!

Just an fyi...in the early 80's, Westone was a good quality Matsumoko-made guitar.

This guitar is a 1990 'Villian' model, so I'm not sure about the quality. You'll find it in this catalog:

Looks like it's super thin and probably very light.

I do a daily search for the Matsumoku on the bay- and that has been on my watch list since the day it came out. I keep going back and forth about "yes" or "no"- I need to get rid of some stuff (too much stuff!)

But that one is definitely intriguing-

I'd grab the neck and put it on a Warmoth Strat body with a bunch of single coils all off-set nearer the bridge and mini toggles to get a neck and bridge combo
