theCAUSE and FUNGUS--11/19--special double bill show

Hey Now!

This Friday 11/19, both bands will play a show together (for the first time in recorded history mind you) at The Altar Bar in the strip district. The venue is a converted church and is a rather cool place to see a show. Very serious house sound/light system and other weird stuff there---think dancing naked chicks/silohettes behind the relic-laiden bar and bartenders who are exceptionally easy on the eyes who pour shots right in your mouth!

Fungus, (lead by the locally legendary guitarist par excellance Terry Callahan, formerly of 1982 MCA recording artists the Zippers) does primarily GD, so, theCAUSE decided to do an all Jerry Band show and change our name for the night to Rueben's Painted Mandolin.

Show starts at 9pm and will feature full sets from both bands with the highly likely cross-over jam, or whathave you....who knows. One thing's for sure, I'm gonna be exhausted after that 4 hour marathon playing with both bands. Come see if I make it til the end!

Tix are 8 at the door but you can get em for 5 on our site.

I might be able to come, but i think some friends of mine are having a party that night that I can't get out of (though i would rather get out of it if i could)
