What is the keyboard or effect that Keith uses in 1977?

What is that distinctive Estimated sound that Keith uses? It's really prominent here, for example: http://www.archive.org/details/gd1977-0 ... .6952.shnf

Maybe some sort of pedal or filter on that Yamaha fake-piano thing that he used in those days?

Oh! that was easy.

Any idea how it was set? I have a Nord to play with that has a lot of the same oscillators and filters and whatnot but I don't really have a good understanding of it.

I like that keyboard lick he plays. It sounds like a wood-block patch to me. Maybe in the Marimba family.

The Wood-Block keyboard sound I'm hearing starts at the 5 min mark... during the F#m outro vocals.
