Show us your Garcia inspired guitars

Postby stuco » Mon May 31, 2010 2:04 pm

I know many people have posted their replicas/inspired guitars but I thought it's be cool to put them in one thread. It doesn't matter if it's a homemade copy, ibanez, alembic, resurrection, phiga, modified strat, whatever, let's see em!

Here's my two - a Warmoth WGD - quilted maple and mahogany and my carved-top tele with Jerry-woods - cocobolo top and quilted maple back - neither are wired like Jerry's and have different pickups - but I love 'em

Have a neck-thru maple/redwood guitar under construction I think I'll put a unity gain buffer OBEL in that one

Ibanez Musician MC-150 completely re-done by AO Guitars. (New Gray Wolf Pickups, TPC1, 3 Way, S/S/P x2). Was basically a Les Paul configuration (3-way, 2 vol, 2 tone). I really like what he did with this, the functionality is great. Everything I need and nothing I don't. I don't even use overdrive anymore based on the output when switched to "series" from either split or parallel. It's like a built in boost or slight grit depending on the amp.

Love your Strat! So clean and nicely laid out!
